Updates
Lots of good things happening right now. Currently the second four song My Satellite EP is being wrapped up in mixing and will soon be off to get mastered and then on to the presses. It will be called “Depths” and will include previously released “Tidal Wave” as well as three other completely new songs. The track listing will be:
1. Mirrors
2. Tidal Wave
3. Beneath the Fall
4. Downstream
I’m very excited for this to hit the world. This EP is definitely a progression that I hope people will embrace and enjoy as much as I do. I’m going to postpone the release until early January due to the holidays so look for Depths to be out in the first part of 2011.
I am also working steadily towards putting a live band together. For the past couple months I have been working with my friend Ryan Ward who will be playing guitar with me for live shows and I am also currently auditioning keyboardists, bassists and drummers. This is very exciting and we’re going to put together a fantastic live show once all the pieces are in place.
And one last thing. With the help of some sneaky editing in iMovie, I put together a ridiculous video for “A Nighttime Daydream” using an awesome 1961 GM car commercial called “A Touch of Magic”. It’s romanticized take on the suburban American dream and the automobile fit really well with the song. Plus there is a fire breathing dragon in the film so I almost HAD to use it. Check it out!
